Yesterday for CVP (intensive 12 week art program) we began our journal. My first painting on my journal was based on my word on how I felt. We did some exercises to discover what lights me up in life. I can tell you CVP lights me up. What are somethings that light you up? What feeds your soul?

Idea for a New Painting

Sometimes I wake up early in the morning, and I'm not a morning person, with an idea for a new painting. So I go straight to my studio, before doing anything else, and prepare the canvas. I do love the morning light coming through my windows. It's going to be a beautiful day.
