Preschooler's Art Work

Dear Beautiful Art Friends,

Yesterday I had the opportunity to teach a play date group in La Jolla, CA.

I had six wonderful preschoolers, ranging from 3 to 6 years old.  It was such a blast, I had forgotten how much fun it was to teach little ones.

I was going to have them do something simple they could follow, but them being a few block from the beach, they all wanted to do a beach scene.

Can I say I was impressed with their work?! It turned out great! It was an honor to have them as my students. I'm looking forward to working again with them.

Great news ahead about being represented by a gallery.  While I love networking and selling online, life sometime brings you a curve and you respond gracefully, thus I agreed to be open to all opportunities.

Broken Heart

Beloved Oliver (Sept. 16, 2005-July 3, 2016)

Dear Art Friends,

Our beloved Oliver passed away July 3, 2016.  He was happy chasing his ball, in high spirits, but then he collapsed.  Vet said it was some type of cancer that hits them like a lighting bolt, it attacked his little heart until it could no longer pump blood.

Vet said it was painless for him but we were in shocked. To lose our little bundle of joy was devastating.  Our hearts broke and we will grieve for a long time, but we will focus on all the love and joy he brought into our lives and those who got to know him.

I do believe there is an after life, and I choose to believe he is with his brother "Buddy" who taught him so much before he himself left us.

You are missed but you will always be in our hearts.

Love Creating Commissioned Work

Commission work

Hello Beautiful Art Friends,

After returning from from Los Angeles and San Jose I had a commission waiting for me. I was so happy to work on this painting.  It just love the way it turned out. Now my client has a painting of herself, her beloved dog, and her home that will be with her for years to come. I do have two spots available during August if you want to have your own custom art made by me. Just contact me.

I'm on the board of the Allied Artist Association of San Diego and I signed up for additional duties, since two of our board member's left.

I now administer their fan page on Facebook.  I created their website for the webmaster to maintain it and update it a few years ago since I have experience in creating websites.  I realized that many artist do not know how to create their own website or have knowledge of social media.

I'm opening my schedule to help those who need help in learning how to create a website, or if they want me to build it and maintain it for them, as well as creating a social media media presence for them. If you need help in this area, my rates are affordable so contact me and we can talk about your project.

I'm starting a new commission, and I'm ready to create some abstract work, so stay tune :)
