Graduation Time!

Dear Beautiful Art Friends,

It's been a while since I posted. My adopted dad is still in the hospital but I had a break from care giving to go to San Jose for my son's graduation from college.

I am so proud of him. My daughter flew from Florida and we had a chance to be together and do some fun things, some new to me like Line Dancing!  I had so much fun :)

Not much chance to paint but being inspired everywhere I go so some new paintings will be created once my adopted dad goes home from the hospital.

Even though I haven't had a chance to paint, I have had several paintings sold this month. I love it!

May 14, 2016 Contemporary Realism Art Reception

Gladys' painting "Seal" was juried into the Contemporary Realism art exhibit at the Escondido Municipal Art Gallery. 

Opening reception is May 14, 2016 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

May 8, 2016 La Jolla Rifford Library Opening Reception

At The Athenaeum, 16"x20" oil on canvas


Gladys' paintings "Pelicans" and "At the Athenaeum" were juried into the La Jolla Branch Library Nooks &  Crannies Art Exhibit.  Show starts April 30, 2016 and goes through May 20, 2016. Opening reception May 8, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  The La Jolla Branch Library is located at 7555 Draper Street, La Jolla, CA 92037.
